Who we are & why we care

We built the company we wished existed when we sequenced ourselves.

Two founders who became convinced that the most identifying data a person can generate should be held by exactly one person: them. So we made a way to read your whole genome without it ever leaving your home.

Why we care

Your genome is permanent. The way it's handled should be too.

We started with a simple, uncomfortable observation: nearly every way to read your DNA today asks you to hand it to someone else first. A lab. A cloud. A pipeline you can't see. Once it's there, it's there forever, and your genome can't be rotated like a password or revoked like a key.

We are both big believers in the cypherpunk vision, and in privacy as a default rather than a feature you have to opt into.

We care because this is personal. We've each sequenced ourselves, sat with what the data says, and felt how intimate it is, about you and about everyone you're related to.

So we built the opposite of the default. A medical professional reads your whole genome in your home, on instruments that never touch a network, and leaves you with the only copy. We keep nothing, because we designed ourselves to be unable to.

The team

Two founders, one conviction.

Abhilash Inumella

Abhilash is a serial founder and engineer who has spent his career building consumer products at scale. He studied Computer Science at IIIT Hyderabad, earning both his B.Tech and Master's as a gold medalist, and went on to work as a software engineer at Facebook.

He was co-founder and CEO of Samosa Labs, a short-video app that grew to roughly 10 million users with effectively zero marketing spend, raised $8.3M from Sequoia Capital and Xiaomi, and was acquired by Mobile Premier League. Mikhil Pandey

Co-founder

Mikhil Pandey

Mikhil has spent 5+ years building consumer-facing products and taking them to market. He was Chief Strategy Officer at pSTAKE, where he led strategic initiatives that drove $100M+ in total value locked and $20M+ in fundraising, and steered the product's expansion into new ecosystems.

His work centers on mechanism design, go-to-market, and ecosystem development, turning a strong product into something people find, trust, and tell others about. He brings that same focus to growing At-Home Sequencing responsibly, city by city.
